Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OT Senior Outside Sales Representative with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical sector. This role will be primarily focused on generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships within the life science pharma industry. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network within the pharmaceutical landscape, particularly with top-tier companies, and will possess the ability to navigate complex sales processes with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the life science pharma sector, with a focus on top 20 pharmaceutical companies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of pharmaceutical clients and tailor solutions to address those needs effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and effective pipeline management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly within the life science pharma sector.
  • Extensive network of contacts within top-tier pharmaceutical companies, with a rolodex of key decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (post-pandemic) to meet with clients and prospects.
