Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, operation, education, monitoring, and maintenance of our robotic solutions at customer's kitchens. You will work closely with the CTO and CBO to ensure smooth installation, optimize robot performance, provide technical support and education, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Deployment: Install and set up our robots at customer's kitchens, ensuring proper configuration and calibration for optimal performance.
  • Operation: Support customers in operating our installed robots, ensuring they can use them in their desired manner and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Education: Provide comprehensive training and guidance to customers on utilizing our robots effectively after installation.
  • Monitoring/Customer Service: Monitor the performance of our robots in customer's kitchens, track key performance indicators (KPIs) important to customers, identify areas for improvement, and promptly address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot any malfunctions or issues that arise with the robots. Carry out necessary repairs and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining automated equipment or robots
  • Ability to understand customer needs and approach robot deployment, operation, and maintenance from the customer's perspective.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • Strong passion for robotics and automation technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in installing, operating, and maintaining automated equipment or robots in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong interest in the F&B industry and familiarity with a variety of equipment used in the field.
