Senior Account Executive

One of our top clients is a Sequoia venture backed company whose goal is to increase the adoption of AI in healthcare, in order to help doctors catch deadly diseases earlier. We're looking for an Account Executive to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, preferences, and objectives.

- Act as the main point of contact and the face of the company for assigned accounts.

- Develop a deep understanding of the client's industry, business model, and competitive landscape.

- Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and expansion within existing accounts.

- Prospect and acquire new clients through various sales strategies, including cold calling, networking, and client referrals.

- Present and promote company products or services to potential clients.

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

- Develop account plans and strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.

- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and offerings based on client requirements.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.

- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

- Close sales deals and secure contracts with clients.

- Handle objections and address concerns to drive successful closures.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.

- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.

- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

- Highly motivated and driven to succeed.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

 

We are looking for some life sciences or hardware background, longer, higher value sales experience (familiarity with a 3-9 month cycle, deal size from $50K to $1M), and the ability to sell a product in a space that is yet to be established.
