We are currently seeking an ICT System Engineer (VMware) (80-100%) to join a client at one of their locations in Lucerne, the trendy district of Binz in Zurich, or Männedorf on Lake Zurich.
Your Role:
- As a system engineer, you will be an integral part of their solution team, actively involved in developing the virtualization infrastructure with a focus on capacity, performance, and security.
- You will plan, design, and present ICT solutions to their clients, whilst leveraging your extensive experience in VMware virtualization.
- With your service-oriented and solution-driven approach, you will design virtualization solutions and implement them within customer projects.
Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience, building and expanding your practical skills.
- You have expertise in Server Virtualization using VMware.
- You have in-depth experience working within the Microsoft environment, particularly with Windows Active Directory, Windows Server, and Azure AD.
- You have a strong understanding and practical experience with client virtualization using VMware Horizon, as well as experience with client virtualization based on Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktops.
- You are enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and are eager to advance professionally.
- You are a team player, service-oriented, and enjoy engaging with customers.
- Knowledge of storage and SAN systems (preferably with HPE products) would be highly desirable.
- C1 German or above.
