Cloud Operations Lead

I am working with a global financials services client who is searching for a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer to help pioneer their US cloud program.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Ideally 10 years of relevant experience
• Responsibilities include serving as a cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading the local Technology Services team, providing operational support
• Key responsibilities encompass managing cloud services, achieving performance and availability, maintaining security, disaster recovery testing, cost optimization, documentation, and serving as an escalation point for level 1 teams.
• Technical operations experience, people management skills, proficiency in Terraform and Azure DevOps, knowledge of ITIL, adaptability in a fast-growing tech environment, and expertise in Azure services, backup, and automation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and flexibility to work across time zones are essential for success in this role.
