On behalf of an Industry leading, fast growth start-up, Cybernetic Search have been tasked to find an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to lead the growth & posture of their expanding Cyber Security team.

Due to Covid this role is 100% remote for now, with the idea of it being on-site in Arlington, Virginia when agreed safe to do so.

This is a brand new position, giving the chosen candidate full executive leadership on all decisions pertaining to Information Security Strategy & Program development, with an open line to the CEO & Board of Directors

To succeed in this role you will have:

• A strong executive presence
• Minimum 3+ years HANDS ON experience as a CISO
• Experience building & leading Security programs from scratch

Responsibilities:

You will be designing the direction & posture of the Security program how you see fit, will full ownership over Strategy Development, Security Operations, Cyber Risk, Data Loss & Fraud Prevention, Security Architecture, Identity & Access Management, Disaster Response, Regulatory Compliance, and Budget.
 

Note: This is a full-time direct hire position, not available for Corp to Corp.
